International cycling tour through 5 countries

June 19th, 2009 a group of 25 youngsters from 5 countries hits the road in Koper through Italy and Slovenia to conquer the Eastern border of the former Roman Empire bringing green messages and happiness to the people.

Cultural and environmental programs at the stops of the tour

At the certain stops on the tour, we will set different cultural and environmental programs or actions, where cooperation with the local municipalities, NGOs and institutions is reckoned on.

Bicycle power plant

The Green Bikes for Peace team will collect the energy produced during the tour in batteries, so that local groups can play at the central squares of the cities where the team stops.

Mobile exhibition

During the tour a mobile photo show will exhibit the best artworks of the photo competition "Let's Green the pics".

We would like to initiate the local people in the art of cycling and in sharing the multicultural feeling through the local programs during the tour.

Share your ideas and we will link you up with the local organizers.

We welcome everybody who wants to join us on the tour (paying the full cost is required). We provide help in getting the necessary information and arranging the trip.
