We are expecting a total of 25 primarily young participants (around the age of 20-30) from the countries of the tour (Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary). But applications from other countries might be considered as well. Application process is open and continuous till all places are filled.

ABOUT THE TASKS

During the tour we organize 8 workshops related to the main topics of GBfP: environment protection, sustainability, active citizenship. The participants have to take part actively in these discussions, and prepare presentations about their own experiences.

Ljubljana - youth involvement, culture
Linz - high-tech and nature
Vienna - water, nature and city
Győr - land-art
Budapest - urban cycling
Pécs - summary of the tour, communication

ABOUT THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Accommodation

We stay mostly in hostels, but 2 times we will spend the night in the nature. Sleeping bag is recommended.

Meals

All meals are provided (mostly breakfast in hostel, sandwich lunch, warm dinner (in hostel or in restaurant). All other consumption is on you (party drinks :-)

Bikes

Every participant has to bring his/her own bike with all the necessary equipment (lamps, helmet, lock, etc.) and take care of all his/her luggage. We provide small technical assistance for bike reparation during the trip, if needed, but please get your bike checked before the tour.

Transportation

A bus will take the participants from Budapest through Vienna to the starting point, Koper, then from Ljubljana to Linz between the 1st and 2nd section, and at the end from Pécs to Budapest. Every other travel cost has to be covered by the participant.

Other

All participants must have valid international insurance.
Every participant has to take responsibility for him/herself.
We have the right to send home anyone, who gives reason for it.
